MDP announces ballot box locations for presidential primaries
Forms are available to download through their official website
Ballot boxes will be placed throughout five countries including Maldives

Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has announced ballot box locations in the upcoming party presidential primaries slated for the 30th of May.

An announcement published on the opposition party's official website gives the locations where ballot boxes will be placed during the presidential primaries vote on Wednesday.

As such, ballot boxes will be placed throughout all inhabited islands in the Maldives, Sri Lanka's commercial capital Colombo and Kandy, located in the central province in Sri Lanka.

Other locations include India's southeast city of Karnataka, Bengaluru more commonly known as Bangalore and Thiruvananthapuram more commonly known as Trivandrum, the southernmost district of Kerala.

The other locations are Kuala Lampur located in the center of Selangor state in Malaysia as well as London, the capital city of England.

Presidential primaries application forms, forms to submit complaints in regards to voter's registry in the presidential primaries as well as forms to show support for running candidates are available for download through MDP's official website.

So far, only Nasheed has declared his candidacy for the presidential election and his campaign "Jazeera Raees" translated to "Island President" kicked off on Friday night at a special gathering held in Addu City.
