Attire of nurses at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has been changed.

The change was brought on Saturday in commemoration on International Nurses Day which is celebrated annually on the 12th of May.

The new attire is in a floral design with a teal and white ombre and sleeves in baby blue.

According to officials of IGM Hospital, the attire is to be worn only inside hospital grounds.

An official at the Hospital had said that the change was brought in order to help maintain hygiene as nurses provide for patients at a close proximity.

This is the second change in nurse attire at the hospital, the very first attire being full white.
