Former President Mohamed Nasheed, who has announced his running in the MDP primaries, is to hold a campaign rally in Addu City’s Hithadhoo on Friday night.

The leader of the main opposition party is the only one vying for the MDP ticket.

The rally will be held at Hithadhoo’s MDP campaign site at 9pm. Some members of the party leadership and MPs are set to attend and some are already in the island.

A campaign rally for Nasheed will also be held in HA Dhidhdhoo on Saturday night.
