Group locks up Maduvvari Magistrate Court

A group of people, on Monday, locked up the gate of the Maduvvari Magistrate Court with a padlock.

The gate was locked up at around 5pm, while the court staff were reportedly 'on tea break'.

The padlock has since been removed, with a saw. Police officers were present at the time.

There has been no arrests over the matter, but police said that they have launched an investigation into it.

While the reason for locking up the Maduvvari Magistrate Court remains unclear, the public has bee extremely critical of the courts and its decisions as of recently.
