PPM delegation flies to China on invitation from Communist Party of China
The delegation is in China at the invitation of the sole-governing Communist Party of China
A similar invitation is extended by the party every year

A senior-level delegation from the Progressive Party of Maldives faction still loyal to Maldives’ embattled president Abdulla Yameen, has left to China.

The 18-member delegation includes Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer, who is also the deputy leader of the aforesaid faction, and pro-government lawmakers.

The delegation is in China at the invitation of the sole-governing Communist Party of China. A similar invitation is extended by the party every year.

The Progressive Party of Maldives has said that both parties are to discuss ways in which to develop administration and to expand operations. The parties will also discuss how companies in different industries can be utilized for this purpose.
