Constance Moofushi initiates fundraiser for Maldives Autism Association
The fund garnered a whopping total of MVR 60,500, which will help in expanding MAA's facilities and therapies

Management of the 5-star rated Maldives resort Constance Moofushi initiated a special fundraiser to lend a helping hand to the Maldives Autism Association (MAA).

While the fundraiser was held on the 15th of April, Sunday, what made the event special was the fact that several tourists vacationing in the resort had partook in the event along with employees of the resort. 

The event was held under the heedful supervision of manager, Mohamed Latheef and General Manager Sasha Tyas. It kicked off with a run around the perimeter of the island where runners wore identifier caps and socks to represent autism awareness.

At the end of the run, an auction was held where various activities provided by the resort were auctioned off to the highest bidder. 

Speaking to RaajjeMV about the event, Managing Director at the association Ifham Hussain, said that the donation in whole was officially handed over to them at their annual sports meet held today, where the management of Moofushi resort had visited to confer the generous donation.

Funds being handed over to MAA

The donation had garnered a whopping total of MVR 60,500 through the resort auction and the donation box, which according to MD Ifham will be used to expand the facilities and enhance therapies provided for students at the association. With this generous contribution, the association will see key progress in the near future.

The association's staff and management whole-heartedly expressed their gratitude for the generous contribution and the diligent work by the management and staff of Constance Moofushi to raise awareness for autism.
