TV in MDP campaign office in L. Gan destroyed

Maldivian Democratic Party\'s campaign office in L. Gan, Thundi
A 65-inch television in L. Gan, Thundi was destroyed at midnight on Sunday.
People who destroyed the TV with a large rock have not been identified yet, therefore nobody has been alleged of the crime.

Nevertheless, the incident has been reported to the police.
There has been tension between members of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) in Gan, since several PPM members from the island showed interest in joining Maldivian Democratic Party's (MDP) coalition at a ceremony held in L. Gan last Friday.
President of MDP Gan branch, Mohamed Shiyam mentioned that it was an extremely foul and heinous act. He said that this act of intimidation will not stop MDP's activities in Gan and added that they will be opening a fund box at 4:30 pm on Monday to collect money for a new TV.
