Video Journalism crash course by RaajjeMV and Cyryx College concludes
The duration of the crash course was 10 days
A total of 14 students participated in the course
Both RaajjeTV and Cyryx College hopes to have more basic journalism courses

The basic video journalism crash course coordinated by RaajjeMV in partnership with Cyryx College concluded on Saturday. 

Vice Rector of Cyryx College, Mohamed Shareef awarded certificates to the participants at the closing ceremony held today at 4:30 pm. 

Speaking at the closing ceremony, RaajjeMV's Chief Operating Officer Hussain Fiyaz Moosa stated that the training sessions were carried out by well established people from various sectors of the industry and that RaajjeMV is proud to announce the successful completion of such an effective course. 

The lecturers of the ten-day crash course which commenced on 5th of April, were also awarded certificates for their support.

Speaking at the ceremony, VTV's Director General of News and Current Affairs, as well as a lecturerer for the course, Imad Latheef requested the participants to make the best use of the certificate being awarded to them. While mentioning several hardships involved in the field, Imad adviced the students to be prepared for the challenges they might have to face in the future.   

The best performers out of the 14 graduates were given the opportunity to work at RaajjeMV. 

Additionally, RaajjeMV plans to execute another basic video journalism course in May 2018 and added that they hope to expand the course further in the future.

Senior staff from both RaajjeMV and Cyryx College attended the closing ceremony.
