There is a search ongoing for an expatriate who went missing at sea on Wednesday night.
Maldives National Defense Force's (MNDF) spokesperson Captain Ibrahim Azim confirmed that its Coastguard is currently searching for an expatriate who went missing while at sea in Kaafu Olhuhali island, where a resort is being developed.
Azim added that MNDF received the missing persons report at around 8:30 pm tonight.
