President's Office now accepting nominations for 'Special Achievement Award'
The deadline for submissions is May 31st
The ‘special achievement’ award is conferred annually

The President’s Office has on Tuesday announced that they will now be accepting names to be nominated to the annual ‘President’s National Award for Special Achievement’.

The award is being given out to nominees in a total of four categories this year:

  • Achieving an outstanding accomplishment in academic qualification
  • Achieving the highest rank in an international exhibition or competition
  • Achieving the highest rank in an academic or skill training course
  • Achieving a recognizable accomplishment in resolving or tackling a key issue in the Maldives

Names can be submitted to the President’s Office through an application form available there. The deadline for submissions is May 31st.

The ‘special achievement’ award is conferred annually at the official event held to commemorate Maldives’ Independence Day.
