Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim departed to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday, on an official visit.
During the visit the minister is to meet with counterpart Igor Crnadak and other officials of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the foreign ministry.
During these meeting, the foreign minister is to hold ‘discussions of ways to further strengthen the friendly relations’ between both countries.

Permanent Representative of Maldives to the United Offices in Geneva, Hala Hameed accompanied Minister Asim on the trip, along with the first secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Maldives to the UN Offices, Aishath Shahula.
Diplomatic relations between Maldives and Bosnia and Herzegovina was established on the 27th of January 1997.
