The police are investigating a taxi driver for making a death threat against a woman. 

A police media official mentioned that they are currently investigating a death threat that was reported. However, police failed to clarify whether the individual making the threat was arrested. 

Photos of the taxi driver being handcuffed and detained by the police are being shared on social media. According to the information received by RaajjeMV, the taxi driver has not been arrested despite being detained by the police. 

One of the bystanders informed that the taxi driver pulled up near a woman driving a motorcycle and threatened her. The informant explained that the threat was made by saying, "you cannot live in Maldives without wearing the hijab".
