Two suspects have been arrested over the theft of 16 cases of canned fish.

Police stated that the suspects are men aged 27 and 30.

They were arrested under a court order by the Hinnavaru police station after it received the complaint on April 3.

Police said they have recovered 10 of the cases, which had been sold all over the island.

The court has issued them 15 days in remand.
