The Elections Commission’s meeting with local political parties, planned to discuss concerns ahead of the presidential elections slated for later this year, has been cancelled.
The Elections Commission said that the meeting, scheduled for this morning, has been postponed to a later date, via twitter.

“The meeting with political parties, shedueled for 10:00am today, is to be held on a later date” the tweet translates.
While Elections Commissioner Ahmed Akram had retweeted the post, neither Akram nor the commission have clarified the reason for the cancellation.
