Rescue officers have quelled a house fire in VIllimalé.
The incident was reported to the Maldives National Defence Force’s fire and rescue department at about 02:19 AM on Thursday.
The fire was quelled at about 4:00 AM, nearly two hours after officers arrived at the scene.
The house has been uninhabited, rescue officers said, affirming that no one was injured in the incident.
