Judicial Administrator Hassan Saeed is accused of bribery

Faisal Adam, the spokesperson at the Department of Judicial Administration has been released, after nearly seven hours in custody.
Faisal was apprehended on Sunday night without an order from a court of law, and released early Monday morning.
The spokesperson was apprehended in relation to the police's ongoing investigation into allegations put forth against Judicial Administrator Hassan Saeed.
Officers have accused him of influencing the conducting of judges, and of having given and accepted bribes.
The police have said that they found hefty amounts of cash underneath the mattress Hassan Saeed had in his bedroom.
Officers have arrested justices Abdulla Saeed and Ali Hameed in relation to the allegations.
The allegations have to do with the Supreme Court ruling to release nine individuals who were convicted unfairly.
The Supreme Court, following the arrests of said justices, has repealed its earlier decision.
