The country’s leading financial institution has said that it ha delivered USD 50 million to travelers in 2017.

Bank of Maldives (BML) began issuing US Dollars at Velana International Airport, under a new online booking system launched in January 2017.

The Bank noted that the new system “had eliminated queues and led to a much better customer experience”.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Andrew Healy had said that their aim is “to ensure that all travelers enjoy a fast and smooth service”.
