Joint Opposition has launched a rally in capital Male’ city, to protest against the Government’s decision to probe and confiscate items from resorts owned and operated by Jumhooree Party leader Qasim Ibrahim.

The rally began from Maafannu Kunooz, main premises for Jumhooree Party, at 9pm on Saturday evening. The joint parties say the purpose of the rally is to raise their voices against the Government’s attempts to decimate tourism sector.

The joint opposition also conducted rallies on Friday and Saturday evenings.
