National airline, Maldivian has brought in the 13th seaplane to the country.
Maldivian Head of Finance and Accounts, Mohamed Shaaheen reported to RaajjeMV that the seaplane was a twin otter one and flown in from Canada.
Eleven out of the 13 seaplanes are currently in operation, with more planes to be added to the fleet in the coming days.
The total number of planes in the carrier’s fleet now amounts to 24. This includes two Airbus planes, 13 seaplanes and nine Dash-8 planes designed for domestic travel.
