A boat’s engine has stalled while travelling from HA Ihavandhoo to Male’.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, the media officer of the defense force said they have received the report of the malfunction in “Kaaviya Boat” at 00:03.

The boat first faced the issue near Kamadhoo due to its engine overheating, and had been travelling at a slow speed since.

A harbor patrol speedboat is now assisting the boat.

RaajjeMV has received information that the boat’s engine has stalled near Kamadhoo.
