Minor in Addu accident dies
Two youths in a motorcycle were injured after being struck by a pickup truck

A minor injured in an accident in Addu City on Tuesday morning has died during treatment later that day.
The 13-year-old boy was injured after his motorcycle hit a pickup truck.
Police say the two youths in the motorcycles were the only ones injured in the Hithadhoo accident.
Online news website, Addu Live earlier reported that the truck belongs to the Ministry of Environment and Energy, and that that the two had sustained serious injuries, with one sustaining injuries to the head.
Addu Live said that the family of the youth that sustained injuries to the head had been working to transport him to the capital Malé City for further treatment. However, the hospital had informed that they were unable to secure any room in any of the flights that day, and had to wait till Wednesday.
