MDP ideology is improper in any place with Muslims: PPM VP

The ideology of opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) is improper for any place with Muslims, says Abdul Raheem Abdulla, the Vice President of ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).
Speaking at a ceremony to inaugurate the government projects In Thulhaadhoo on Tuesday, the ruling party VP said only their ideology should be allowed to establish peace and prosperity in the country.
“MDP ideology is not proper for any island, not for any place with a Muslim population.”
Since Thulhaadhoo has a large number of MDP supporters, Abdulla called on its citizens to “erase” MDP from the island.
He also announced that a PPM campaign hall to be built in Thulhaadhoo.
