President Abdulla Yameen has returned to the Capital after a trip to the atolls.
During the three-day trip which began on Sunday, the President visited a total of eight islands in Baa Atoll, Noonu Atoll, and Lhaviyani Atoll.
President Yameen inaugurated the new harbors in Noonu Atoll Maalhendhoo, Holhudhoo, and Velidhoo, and also inaugurated a new mosque in Maalhendhoo. He also inaugurated the project to establish a sewerage system in Henbadhoo.
He also inaugurated the clean drinking water services in Lh Hinnavaru. The project which was fully funded by the American government, under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
President Yameen also inaugurated the new harbors in Baa Atoll Kendhoo and Thulhaadhoo, as well as the completion of the Eydhafushi land reclamation project.
He also joined in the ceremony to celebrate the completion of the beach preservation programmes in Eydhafushi and Thulhaadhoo.
