Rough seas are expected between Noonu and Thaa atolls

Meteorological Service has warned that seas would be rough between Noonu and Thaa atolls.
The weather forecast from Sunday night to Monday night suggests scattered rain with a few thunderstorms in the central and southern atolls.
Met Service said a few heavy showers also likely in southern atolls, with a few showers also expected in northern atolls.
Surface winds will vary between east to north-east and reach 13 to 20mph between Noonu and Thaa atolls and north to north-west reaching 5 to 13mph elsewhere.
Winds may gust 35 miles per hour during showers.
