Ahmed Nasheed (TC Dave) has restarted work in Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) following his resignation as Sports Commissioner.

Nasheed had resumed duties of Deputy Harbor Master this week, a position he had served in until his assumption of duties as Sports Commissioner. He had resigned as Sports Commissioner, citing personal reasons.

Nasheed is yet to release a statement regarding his decision.

He was appointed as Sports Commissioner on April 24 and was the first Sports Commissioner. A Commissioner is appointed for a period of four years and grants broad powers to the Commissioner.
