Zahiya Zareer has been appointed as Ambassador at Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
RaajjeMV has been able to confirm her appointment.
She previously served as Ambassador to Sri Lanka but was dismissed. No statement was made at the time of her dismissal.
Zahiya was appointed to that role on May 20,2014 and was dismissed in August, 2017. She was succeeded by Mohamed Hussain Shareef.
