The ‘Ooredoo Color Run’, which was postponed due to turbulent weather conditions last week, will be held on Friday.

The five-kilometer paint race will begin at 15:30 at Hulhumalé’s central park, and is held in partnership with local sports gear retailer Unix Sports.

Ooredoo Maldives said that the race is an initiative to invoke social unity and healthy living, and that all the proceeds from selling t-shirts and gear are to go to charity.

The telecommunications provider said that the event is ‘inspired’ by five-kilometer paint race The Color Run, held in over 50 countries and was inaugurated in the United States.
