Former Home Minister Umar Naseer has decided to join the opposition Jumhooree Party (JP).
Speaking to RaajjeMV Naseer confirmed the news, adding that he will join in the coming week.
In a statement released on his official viber group, Naseer previously had said the single candidate for the next elections will be Jumhooree Party's leader Qasim Ibrahim.
Umar, who had served as Home Minister in this administration, said the decision was made as he wished to assist the Party in the upcoming Presidential elections.
