Rescue officers have found the missing fishing vessel they began searching for on Thursday evening.

The ‘Nivaali’ boat was found at about 23:30, the Maldives National Defence Force said.

Their officers found the vessel 7 miles off of Raa Atoll.

The vessel lost contact with authorities due to cell phone and radio range issues.
