Joint Opposition rally in Dhihdhoo island
Henveyru North Constituency MP Abdullah Shahid says that citizens will cease their efforts only after President Abdullah Yameen’s tyrannical rule is brought to an end.
Speaking in the joint opposition rally held in Dhihdhoo island, Shahid, who had previously served as Speaker of Parliament, the joint opposition was fixed on this aim as well.
Noting that citizens of Dhihdhoo island were at the forefront in reform work, Shahid said that President Yameen should not even expect votes from that region.
He said that so long as individuals like Dhihdhoo MP Mohamed Latheef, Dhihdhoo Council President Ali Hashim remained courageous, this will be demonstrated across the nation. He added the citizens were in no mood to bow down to tyranny.
Shahid further said citizens must reflect on any beneficial changes that had occurred during the four years of this administration. Noting that lives had not improved, the Parliamentarian said that this was clear to all.
