Nazleen Najeeb; newly appointed manager at Gaaf Alif Atoll hospital
A failed electoral candidate has been appointed as the manager at Gaaf Alif Atoll hospital.
Nazleen Najeeb, contested this year’s Local Council Elections on a ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) ticket and lost the run.
He was appointed to the position on Sunday.
Nazleen is the brother of the island’s magistrate Hassan Najeeb.
The managerial position had become vacant after the previous manager, Shafiz Moosa was dismissed suddenly. Shafiz is close associate of opposition Member of Parliament Saud Hussain.
