State offices reopen after eid holidays

Government offices have on Tuesday concluded the holidays that followed Eid al-Adha this week.

The offices closed last Thursday, and locals got a four-day holiday along with the weekend. Many of them had left the capital city to outer lying islands.

An official from the Civil Service Commission said that attendance at said offices had been comparatively low on Tuesday.

While public schools had also closed last week, they are to reopen next Sunday. Students at these school will have the third and last semester for this academic year.
