MP Mahloof taken to Police custody

Galolhu South MP Ahmed Mahloof has been arrested.

He was arrested while he was taking part in the protests by the opposition on the streets of Male’.

A member of Maldivian Democratic Party’s Women’s Wing was arrested as well.

MP Mahloof has been taken to Maldives Police Service (MPS) headquarters of Shaheed Hussain Adam building.
