The team from Kaashidhoo island of Kaafu atoll has claimed the championship title in the recent Golden Futsal Challenge.

Kaashidhoo beat the team from Naivaadhoo island of Haa Dhaal atoll in the final game, to claim the tournament championship.

In the final match played at the Rehendhi Futsal Ground in Hulhumalé on Tuesday night, Kaashidhoo beat their opponents 4 – 1.

Kaashidhoo took the lead by scoring three goals in the first half.

Kaashidhoo was also the first team to score in the match.

Ajlaan Abdul Hannan secured the lead for the team in the match.

After that, Naivaadhoo scored a goal and equalized the score through a goal by Ahmed Hameed.

Later in the game, Abdulla Suzair gave Kaashidhoo expanded the lead for the winning team.

After that, Ajlan expanded the lead further by scoring Kaashidhoo's third goal. In the second half of the match, Suzair scored a fourth goal for the winning team. Kaashidoo won the championship after playing in both the Atoll Finals and Zone Finals of this year's tournament. However, they lost both finals.

This is the first time Kaashidhoo has won the Golden Futsal Challenge.
