Witnesses said that rider of a parked motorcycle had lost control upon ignition and accelerated into the expatriate, who was standing between the vehicle and the shop.
The man had sustained several injuries, including bruises and cuts all over his body, they said.
The rider, described to be a middle-aged woman, had not received any injuries. The accident occurred at around 8:00 am and the expatriate had been taken to the hospital immediately.
