Suspect being located for hit-and-run, gang violence
Two suspects inside the car fled the scene

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) is searching for a man involved in a hit-and-run and gang violence.
MPS revealed that they received reports of a gang violence in Hulhumalé at around 04:07am on Sunday.
When officers arrived at Filigas Magu where the altercation is to have taken place, the suspect is to have attempted to flee inside a car nearby.
He is to have hit the police officer who attempted to stop him from driving off.
The two suspects inside the car then fled the scene.
However, one of the suspects have been arrested, according to the police institution.
The search for the second suspect is ongoing.
The victim in the gang violence and the police officer who was hit by the car were treated for injuries at the Hulhumalé Hospital.
Further investigations are currently underway.
