Suman Miah; state has raised first degree murder charges on him
Criminal Court has scheduled the hearings of the murder charges raised against Suman Miah, for the murder of Ismail Umar (54 years old).
State had filed first degree murder charges on Suman Miah.
54-year-old Ismail Umar's body was found in the ice plant in Ihavandhoo island of Haa Alifu atoll on June 16.
A mechanic at the plant, he was in charge of its overall maintenance.
Suman had confessed to the murder upon his arrest. In addition to Suman five others were arrested.
