A summons notice for two individuals wanted for police interrogation in connection with an ongoing probe, has been publicized.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) launched the manhunt for two individuals who are wanted for questioning in connection with a case being investigated by the Manadhoo Police Station, in Manadhoo island of Noonu atoll.

The summons was publicized in accordance with section 27 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to be followed by the police while investigating criminal cases.

The manhunt was publicized as the authority’s efforts to locate the men and handover their summons notices have been to no avail so far, and as the MPS has been unable to track them down.

Summoned are two Bangladeshi men, both 34 years of age.

They’ve been identified as Shohedulla and Kokon Mia.

They are wanted for questioning regarding the ongoing probe.

They are to present themselves to the Manadhoo Police Station or the police station closest to their current location, at 8pm on May 11.
