President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has offered condolences following the passing of Ali Hassan Mwinyi, the 2nd President of Tanzania.
The Maldivian leader sent a message of condolences to President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan on Monday.
President Muizzu expressed deep sorrow in learning of the passing of the former president of Tanzania.
In his message, he also noted that the late Tanzanian former president left a lasting mark on the country’s history as a distinguished statesman who dedicated his life to the progress of his people and nation.
Muizzu offered sincere wishes to the family and loved ones of the late Tanzanian former leader as well as the people and government of Tanzania, on behalf of the Maldivian government and people.
