MET Office issues white alert for Laamu and Haa Alifu atolls
The MET office further said that regions in the south will have moderate seas with considerable cloud cover

The Maldives Meteorological Services (MET) have on Friday issued weather alerts for parts of the country.
The MET office has said that the country will experience heavy showers all throughout the day, and exceptionally turbulent weather is expected near Haa Alifu and Laamu atolls.
The office further said that regions in the south will have moderate seas with considerable cloud cover while northern regions are expected to have strong winds and rough seas.
