President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Fathimath Inaya as the Foreign Secretary of Maldives.
President Dr. Muizzu appointed Inaya as the Foreign Secretary of Maldives on Tuesday morning. She was presented with her letter of appointment at a ceremony held at the President's Office.
Inaya is the first ever female Foreign Secretary of Maldives.
Inaya formerly worked as a deputy minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She was appointed foreign secretary at the level of Minister of State.
