Ahmed Shakir, former policy executive at the Economic Ministry
Ahmed Shakir, a senior policy executive at the Economic Ministry, has been axed.
His employment at the ministry was terminated on Thursday, however RaajjeMV has not yet been able to acquire a comment from it on the matter.
Shakir was appointed to this position in June, 2015.
He was a prominent member of the now opposition Jumhooree Party and has served at the state-operated Maldives Tourism Development Corporation.
