Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilized the project site for the R. Kinolhas Shore Protection Project.
MTCC on 18 September 2023, disclosed this via twitter.
AS such, taking to the platform, the company disclosed that the project site for the R. Kinolhas Shore Protection Project was mobilized on 20th August 2023.
The Shore Protection Project of Kinolhas island was handed over to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 18 April 2023.
The agreements were signed by the Director General of Planning Ministry Fathmath Shaana and CEO of MTCC Adam Azim.
The scope of the project includes dredging 19,780 cubic meters of land to protect the eastern side of the island and installation of 320 meters and 330 meters of geobag rivetment to protect the eastern and western sides of the island.
The Kinolhas shore protection project is valued at MVR 11.4 million and is contracted to be completed within 180 days.
