President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has marked the completion of the new football ground of Meedhoo Island in Raa Atoll.

The new football ground of Meedhoo Island was inaugurated as part of the President's tour of Raa Atoll, on Wednesday.

The ground was developed to modern standards and features a turf field.

The sub-base work for the football ground was completed by the Road Development Corporation (RDC), while Myna Sports Field Pvt. Ltd. did the turf layering.

These developments represent significant investments in the well-being and development of the local community.

The administration has implemented various initiatives to provide modern football grounds, futsal fields, and sports courts across the atolls.
