MP Qasim Ibrahim has been admitted to the Medica Hospital.

The Jumhooree Party's secretary-general said that Qasim had shown sudden signs of nausea and dizziness while in his car.

While he said that Qasim was admitted after consulting with a doctor, his test reulsts show acutely high blood pressure.

Qasim is scheduled to attend a court hearing at 2:00 pm on Sunday for three separate charges against him.
