Pres. inaugurates completion of football ground on Sh. Funadhoo

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the completion of the newly developed football ground on Funadhoo Island in the North Miladhunmadulu Atoll.

The football ground was opened during President Solih's visit to Shaviyani Atoll, on Monday.

The newly developed football stadium, featuring a turf-covered playing field and modern amenities, was officially opened on Monday afternoon. This new development was part of an ongoing effort to enhance the sporting infrastructure across the country.

The administration highlights the implementation of various initiatives to provide modern football grounds, futsal fields, and sports courts throughout the atolls.

President's Office notes that these efforts are designed to promote healthy and active lifestyles among young people while fostering local athletic talent development.
