The woman who went missing from Vilimalé, has returned home.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the woman is safe. They did not disclose further details.
Athifa Abdulla, 53 was reported missing to the authorities at around 10:25am on Saturday.
The police institution launched a search for her shortly after.
MPS cited the woman’s family having revealed that she was last seen at her residence in Vilimalé, at around 10:45pm on Friday, wearing a green dress and a pink shawl.
