Sh. Maaun'goodhoo Harbor Development Project well underway

Maaun'goodhoo Harbor Development
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has disclosed that the Harbor Development Project of Maaun'goodhoo island of Shaviyani Atoll is well underway.
MTCC states that the quay wall block installation work for the harbor development has reached 98 percent progress.
The company notes that quay wall concrete capping work is currently ongoing with 27 percent completion.
Additionally, MTCC is also working on new harbor basin dredging work. The work has reached 41 percent completion, so far.
The Harbor Development Project of Maaun'goodhoo involves 59,013 cubic meter of dredging operations and 3,245 cubic meter of channel dredging operations.
Scope of works also include construction of a 362 meters breakwater; a 312 meter quay wall; a 105 meter revetment.
Under the project, MTCC will also be doing installation of 1,509 square meter harbor pavement and harbor lights.
A ramp and a concrete jetty will also be constructed.
The value of the project is MVR 56.33 million.
