Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has attended a coronation breakfast hosted by the government of the United Kingdom, representing Maldives on behalf of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

This event was held for Small Island Developing States (SIDS), International Development Partners, and International Organizations, at Lancaster House, London, on Friday.

The breakfast was held to mark the U.K. government's commitment to a successful 4th International Conference on SIDS in 2024.

The SIDS breakfast held as part of King Charles III's coronation celebrations was attended by representatives from various countries and international organizations.

President Ibrahim Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed are currently on an official visit to the U.K. to attend the coronation ceremony of His Majesty, King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Consort Camilla.
