A fire had occurred in Fuvahmulah’s Bandara Kilhi on Thursday.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) says the fire was first reported around 2pm on Thursday and the fire was controlled by 5.30 pm.

No additional details were released regarding the fire.

Fires had occurred in Kilhi area back in February this year. Around 250,000 square meters of the Kilhi area were destroyed, as per MNDF reports.
